Forest fires are becoming increasingly frequent and destructive and pose a significant risk to infrastructure. They have a major impact on roads, buildings and service networks. The early detection of fires is crucial, but still insufficient. As a result, our ability to respond quickly and protect vulnerable regions is limited.

To mitigate these risks, it is essential to develop early detection tools using artificial intelligence or advanced sensors that can quickly detect the onset of fires.

Such technologies will enable a more effective and timely response and help minimize damage.

At the same time, it is important to integrate preventive and adaptive solutions to strengthen existing infrastructure and make them more fire-resistant.

There is also a need for research projects to be conducted to identify best practices for forest fire prevention in high-risk areas, especially in northern communities.

All of this will help develop strategies that are adapted to local realities and identify optimal solutions to protect infrastructure and populations from the devastating effects of fires.
