Alexandra Nemery
Description
Her research specializes in the study and application of gamification, the integration of game mechanisms into serious contexts such as education, health, work or ecology. She aims to understand how gamification can positively influence human behavior, strengthen motivation, facilitate learning and encourage citizen participation.
Through collaborative and multidisciplinary projects, she explores concrete applications of gamification: interactive educational tools, project management platforms for students, digital simulators to raise environmental awareness, and even eco-responsible driving interfaces. Her recent work includes the creation of a digital twin of the St. Lawrence River for educational purposes, the development of applications for teaching biochemistry, as well as an electric retrofit project for an iconic Quebec vehicle, the Manic GT.
Don’t just coexist with climate change.
