Didier Haillot
Description
This researcher has multidisciplinary expertise in energy and process engineering. His work focuses in particular on the development and optimization of thermal energy storage technologies (including phase-change materials), solar thermal systems, and multi-energy solutions. He is also interested in the energy efficiency of buildings and industrial processes, as well as in the advanced modeling of complex energy systems.
His research addresses sustainable development issues, particularly in northern and remote settings, where he explores strategies for integrating renewable energy and improving the performance of infrastructure (buildings, greenhouses, off-grid communities). He uses experimental and digital approaches to design innovative materials and smart systems, thereby contributing to energy solutions that are more resilient, efficient, and adapted to current climate challenges.
Don’t just coexist with climate change.
