Description

This professor specializes in surface engineering and the development of advanced materials to reduce the impact of icing on infrastructure and equipment exposed to extreme weather conditions. Her research focuses on anti-icing and ice-repellent coatings, nature-inspired smart materials (biomimicry), and de-icing technologies for the aerospace, energy, and transportation sectors.

She also develops multifunctional coatings and anti-corrosion materials designed to improve the durability and resilience of infrastructure in the face of climate change. In particular, its work helps protect airplanes, drones, wind turbines, and power grids through the use of durable, self-healing materials with high thermal performance.
