Reda Snaiki

Description

His research focuses on wind engineering, coastal structures and systems, with the aim of developing innovative solutions to reduce the impact of extreme weather events. Using approaches that combine reduced-order modeling, artificial intelligence, and optimization, his work aims to design infrastructure that is both resilient and efficient.

His major projects include the stochastic assessment of the responses of wind-sensitive structures, the modeling of coastal hazards and the estimation of associated risks taking into account projected climate scenarios, the control and optimization of floating wind farms, the analysis of suspension bridges under the effect of climate change, the optimization of sensors and their integration with digital twins, and the adaptation of structures to extreme events. His research aims to enhance the sustainability and resilience of infrastructure in the face of current and future climate challenges.
