Rola Assi
Description
She develops applied research solutions to improve the safety, resilience, and sustainability of built infrastructure against seismic and environmental hazards.
Her work focuses on the seismic performance of non-structural components (NSCs), seismic analysis and design, as well as the study of structural and environmental vibration phenomena.
She uses ambient vibration measurements to characterize the dynamic behavior of structures and predict their response to natural excitations such as earthquakes, wind, and ice impacts.
She wants to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that make infrastructure more resilient, circular, and sustainable, particularly in terms of building performance and the continuity of critical operations, by integrating applied research, technological innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Don’t just coexist with climate change.
