Description

This research falls within the fields of building science, energy efficiency, and the sustainable development of built environments. His work focuses on the modeling and numerical simulation of heat and moisture transfer and airflow in buildings, particularly using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). He is interested in the energy performance of building envelopes and systems, indoor environmental quality, and the development of innovative solutions that promote the decarbonization of the construction sector. His research also covers the hygrothermal evaluation of bio-based materials, energy storage technologies, solar systems, and phase-change materials integrated into glazing. Through a combination of laboratory and field experiments, test bench design, and standards development, he contributes to improving the resilience, sustainability, and energy performance of built infrastructure.
